At Pied Tropics, we are committed to both organic and sustainable farming practices. Our farm at Kibowa serves as a demonstration and training ground where local farmers can learn new, eco-friendly farming techniques, including GAP.
How we source our Products
We source fruits and vegetables from both organic and conventional farmers across Uganda, in addition to the produce from our own organic farm. Our collaboration extends beyond buying produce; we help sensitize these farmers to sustainable ways of farming, including Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and find markets for their produce.
100% Organic
All produce is organically produced without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. At Pied Tropics, we practice organic sustainable farming practices. Our farm at Kibowa is acting as a demonstration farm and training ground for the local farmers to learn new farming techniques.
